Stride is what happens when Mirror's Edge meets PlayStation VR, or at least we hope that's the case. Developer Joy Way is bringing its high-octane virtual reality parkour title to Sony's headset at some point in early 2021 following an early access phase on PC, where it has garnered loads of really positive user reviews. Now PSVR owners will soon have the chance to jump its gaps and scale its walls.
The trailer above details three different modes: endless, arena, and time run. The former generates an infinite level to test how long you can survive for, arena mode is wave-based, and time run puts you against the clock. As well as running, you'll also be shooting bad guys. Because of course you will be. There is also said to be some sort of story featured in the game, so look out for that too whenever Stride hits PSVR.

This looks awesome.
Looks like I'm gonna be sick while playing this! š¤£
This looks almost exactly the same game as Mirrors Edge! Iām a huge fan of that game though so think this looks ace regardless.
It looks great, but hoping the controls will feel intuitive while running and shooting in this fast paced game.
Yeah, this would make me projectile vomit.
This looks like it will most certainly make me ill (falling in VR is one of the few movements that my brain just does not agree with) but I'd love to try it anyway.
Hopefully they add a free-run mode that allows you to run around trying stuff at your own pace. And a way to turn off combat would be nice. I'm just here for the parkour honestly.
Maybe a little too much like Mirror's edge š which I want a remaster or a sequel to (Catalyst doesn't count and doesn't exist to me)
Hmm looks good will probably pick this up at some point. Will probably only be able to play it in short bursts though
Why with the gunning when we're free-running? My interest level went from 10 to 2 as soon as the Playstation logo faded. Parkour is fun irl without getting shot at (I imagine). I really hope combat is optional. That said, EA wasn't making Mirror's Edge in VR, so I can't hold it against devs who want to do that, but I'll stick with To The Top for now.
